SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is a communications protocol for transmitting private information over the Internet. SSL works by encrypting data that is transmitted over the SSL connection. Both Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer support SSL.
When you purchase a kit, your account number, and passhrase are encrypted and then sent over the Internet using a SSL connection. No one can read or access the data that is being transmitted.
To enjoy maximum security:
1.) Make sure your browser is 128 bit key encryption compatible. (go to "HELP" >>> then "ABOUT" to make sure.)
2.) DO NOT use a public or shared computer, such as at a library, cyber café, etc.
